Strike Zone Bottom Fishing
Strike Zone, a 43' Delta, offers
morning bottom fishing 4 days a week from Ma'alaea Harbor. It is one of the
only fishing boats on Maui capable of carrying more than 6 passengers.
Frequently caught species of fish include many varieties
of snappers, trevallys, wrasses, as well as sea bass and the occasional
shark. Bottom fishing anglers are invited to keep their catch.
Strike Zone, is a U.S. Coast
Guard certified, 43' Delta licensed to carry up to 38 passengers. The vessel
features full walk around decks… so you can fish all around.
Equipment includes:
- Fighting chair… a Pompanette 130 tournament series
- Brand new Garmin GPS
- Brand new Furuno colored depth recorder/fish finder
- Outriggers
Fishing tackle:
- Penn International Gold rods & reels… 50’s, 80’s and
130’s
- Bottom fishing tackle
- 7’ ugly stick rods.

On the way to and from our bottom fishing destinations, we
often high-speed troll for big game to make the most of our running time. By
doing this, we have a chance of hooking up to any or all of the classic big
game trophy fish such as marlin, Yellowfin and skipjack tuna, Mahi mahi, and
Ono. Any bottom fishing anglers who are into experiencing the thrill of big
game fishing and the reward of mounting their catch are encouraged to
participate at no additional cost.

Morning Bottom Fishing (6 hrs)

TIME: 6:30am – 12:30pm
PRICE: $168.00 per adult
angler / $148.00 per child angler (ages 6 - 12) / $78.00 per rider or share

Includes:
All bait & tackle, expert instruction and a light lunch (sandwich;
chips; soft drinks & water).
Fish Policy:
Guests are welcome to keep their catch
Not recommended for children under 6.
Morning Sport Fishing (6 hrs)
a.k.a “The Zone Troll”
DAYS: Tues, Thurs, Sun
TIME: 6:30am – 12:30pm (Check-in 6:15am)
PRICE: $168.00 per angler (up to 12 anglers max) /
$78.00 per rider or share pole. Prices do not include tax.
Prices do not include tax (3% harbors + 4.17% GE). 36 hour cancellation.
Includes: All tackle – Captain’s choice of bait
and/or lures, expert instruction and a light lunch (sandwich; chips;
soft drinks & water).
Fish Policy: Strike Zone is pleased to share the
catch-of-the-day with our anglers.
Not recommended for children under 9.
Private Afternoon Charters (2 - 5 hrs)
a.k.a. “Anything goes”
DAYS: Mon, Wed, Fri, available from 1:30 ‘till dusk. 2 hr
minimum.
Privates for up to 28 passengers. Customize your own trip. Rates depend on
length of trip and size of group.
BYO food and beverage, or we will have it catered for you.
