The Hinatea

The "Hinatea" is a 41' Hatteras Sportfisherman,  powered by twin Cummins C-Series Diesels, 300 HP each and has the speed and range to go anyplace offshore in pursuit the big ones. "Hinatea" boasts state of the art electronics, outriggers and a full complement of tackle featuring Penn International big game rods and reels from 50lb to 130lb tackle.  For your comfort and safety, she has a large salon and head, large cockpit and all required safety equipment. She is a proven fish raiser and a comfortable riding, well maintained vessel.

Captain Mark Schultz has fished Maui waters for over 24 years and the crew aboard the Hinatea can guarantee you that they will work hard and do their very best to make your trip a memorable fishing adventure in Hawaii.

Amenities include: GPS, depth recorder, Rupp Riggers, transom door, Murray Bros. fighting chair, tuna tower, spacious open salon, galley with fridge, comfortable head (restroom) facilities, stereo, and well maintained tackle for your fishing pleasure. The Hinatea is organized to fish.

The Hinatea is one of best strike boats leaving daily from Lahaina Harbor. Captain Mark and Captain Kevin have been fishing these waters for many years and always seem to know where to go any time of the year to catch fish. The Hatteras 41 is known for its clean wake and strike-boat characteristics, and this specimen is an amalgamation of years of experience combined with relentless maintenance.

Hinatea has held the State record for the most tagged and released billfish while fishing in Maui.
