The Vessel
"Die Hard"
is a 32' Boston Whaler Express Fisherman, recently repowered with twin
370 Yanmar engines. She is fully equipped with a Fish Finder, GPS Chart
Plotter, Marine Head (toilet-also repowered), protection from the
elements, a microwave and refrigerator. Capt. Fuzzy has captained many boats throughout the years. He was formerly the captain of the Iwalele. Always hoping one day to be captain of his own ship, he went searching for the vessel to achieve his goals.
The Equipment You can sit in
the chair to fight your fish but we also have stand up gear for those of you
that can handle the fight on your feet. The gear aboard are: 50 Shimanos with stand up rods 30 Shimanos and Penns stand up rods Every boat has their arsenal of artificial lures of different sizes and colors that catch them fish. "Die Hard" has that variety of lures, but Capt. Fuzzy also believes in live/fresh baits. Live baits are caught the day before your charter and you are even invited to help catch them. It is limited to 2-3 people for bait fishing because Capt. Fuzzy sometimes has a "bait crew" to ensure him that he will have baits caught for the next day. Sometimes no matter what you do, the fish won't bite so Fuzzy will also have fresh/frozen baits aboard.
Die Hard has the earliest departure time, usually 3:00am. If you don't mind losing some sleeping time, you're welcome to come fishing. Booking your fishing trip before you
come on your vacation is highly recommended.
